Earlier roads were mannually sweeped.Good. Now a sweeping machine is engaged. It only clean the centre of roads, shoulders are

The garbage trasfer vehicles are moving exactly in the timings during office going hours i.e., between 8 am to 10 am and I would suggest any such garbage transfers should complete before 7 am in the morning as these vehicles spread viruses and result in illness to the citizen during these peak hours. |

GHMC Team... we have been complaining about this repeatedly through different channels and doing the same now.. I live in sbi colony Gandhinagar Locality (close to lower tank bund) and landmark is ROCK CHURCH..
coming to problem description...
in recent time people started throwing garbage in our street and had now became a garbage dumping point for whole of the sbi colony locality due to which we are facing with lot of health problems and also becoming difficult to commute due to this garbage. Also to add we have called up the GHMC toll free number and have give complaints regarding the garbage lifting but the required action has not been taken till now...
I request the authorities to look into the matter and see to it that the garbage dumping point is shifted to a remote point and also to clean up the debris and improve the street lightning. |

I would like to bring to your notice that during evening hours say 6.30 pm to 8.30 p.m. there is a common scene of traffic jam on Yousufguda Checkpost to Krishna Nagar to Rd # 5 JubleeHills Road as there are many by-lines on this road.
I think if traffic police keep dividers on this road at-least during the peak hours i.e, morning 8.30 am to 10 am and evening 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.. can avoid zigzag driving / moving of all the vehicles & paves smooth movement / pass of traffic. Traffic police can initially test / experiment at-least for a couple of days to take decision.
I appreciate if you could take this to the notice of the concerned departments to take actions at the earliest to save lives and precious time. |

I stay in Arunodaya Colony in Madhapur, as it is the roads are narrow and pathetic, many house owners in this area have an habit of construcing wall on the road by encroaching the road by 4-5 feet and they plant the tree. I appreciate their interest and love for the environment, but it would be better if they plant the same in their houses within their compound. By this construcitons, the roads are becoming narrow and is becoming difficult to move the vehicles. I would like to bring the kind attention of the Municipal Authorities towards blocking of road & pavements by shopkeepers in MIRALAM MANDI. Shopkeepers on either side of the road inside Miralam Mandi have covered the road with their sheds for keeping their stuff outside the shop. This in turn is causing very much inconvineance to the people who comes for purchasing stuff. Coouple of years back Munciple Authorities has taken firm action and taken away all the sheds. But after a couple of months shopkeepers again installed the sheds. It is very much needed by the authorities to remove this sheds permanently and does not allow them to put the things outside their shop, as the road and pavement is purely ment for public. I hope authorities will surely take action in this regard. |

I Sangeeta Mishra resident of 101, Sriven Residency, Kakaguda, Hyderabad went along with my family to charminar on 24th Oct 09 at 4.00 p.m. in the vening. I parked my car AP 10 AR 3289, at behind high court parking area, charminar , opp HDFC Bank. Ms Padmaja parking lot attendee came and asked for how much time are you parking the car for which I replied for 2 hours. For this she demanded an advance of Rs.100/- I said I will pay as per Rs.10/- per hour basis on my return. For this she started shouting and even holded my hand for not letting me go. She was shouting very loudly on hearing the same few people came from road side and persuaded her to let me go. I have paid her Rs.100/- advance and moved . On my return at around 6.30 p.m. surprisingly I did not find this lady , as I was getting late I moved back. I strongly recommend the punishment to such arrogant staff who brings shame to such efficiently working Muncipal Corporation. |

All the sewage is being let off in open area adjacent to Manjeera Water pipe line road. this area has become breeding ground for mosquitoes and poses a health hazard to the residents of Ushodaya Enclave and Saptagiri Colony. This all are for name sake.i have posted a complaint on Grievance cell on 16.09.2009 wide Compliant No 09TPG1439 till now no action has been taken. This is the way our Government/GHMC is working. Earlier to that i had logged number of compliants in GHMC Circle 2 uppal to town planning offical Siva prasad. There is a good under standing between Town planning offical and the person who is constucting illegaly.So i request all the people who are reading this message better not to post issues in Grievance cell. And dont waste your valuable time.

Last week CC Roads were laid in our Balaji Colony,Ramakrishnapuram,Secbad.However,the quality of Concrete used by the contractor in front of my house was very bad and the same was informed to the site contractor. Due to presence of MORE WATER IN READY MIX CONCRETE the road became very slushy and even when dogs walked on the road they left deep holes on the newly laid concrete road. The contractor should be directed to take up the repair of the roads. Further the contractor has DAMAGED MANY DRAINAGE MANHOLES IN OUR COLONY. When we asked him to repair the manholes damaged by him he refused to repair the same. The CONTRACTOR SHOULD BE INSTRUCTED TO REPAIR ALL THE MANHOLES IMMEDIATELY.
The contractor should be instructed to put mud on both sides of the newly laid CC Road so that accidents do not happen due to the gap between the earlier road level and that of the newly laid CC Road. The Contractor should be directed to take up all these works immediately.

There is a lady in our street who tames all the street dogs on the street.there are around 25dogs around house which make a minace by yelling all the night and day.they are all infected from diseases. we dont have any problem that she is domesticating them.let her do it her own place not on public roads. i heard that even she is fighting with your GHMC guys.I tried asking my neighbours and all about this and they are all afraid of her.I am new to this place and am very annoyed by this problem.
Can you people do favour to me by getting these dogs out of this place

Raghavendranagar colony, near Ammuguda Rly station, Sainikpuri, under Malkajgiri Municipality has a poor pathetic road making vehicles and even walking difficult. Promises were made by MLAs, Councillors, and Commissioners but nothing is happening. Colony representatives met the authorities n times but got only promises, no action. After the last rains it has become worst with stone-metals all over the road and creates hazards to children and elderly people. Even my message to GHMC throug e-mail did not get any response. Road (first right after crossig the Lakdikapool bridge) leading to Hotel Pearl Regency has been
totally damaged due to water leakage from the new Hotel (Rayalaseema Ruchulu) recently opened.
Due to construction activities taken up by Pragathi Printing Press on the same road added the woes of the road users. Our efforts to the local Municipal authorities have proved to be futile. It is requested to attend to repairs to this road immediately and advice the Hotel Ritz Orchid (Rayalaseema Ruchulu) and also Pearl Regency) to get their water lines repaired immediately so that there will be no leakage of water on to the road. |

Dear sir , Please check the Fateh nagar Road which is connected to begumpet through FLYOVER. All Autorickshaw carry more then 6 Person that make them slow at flyover. Most of the time they stop at TOP of flyover to unload the passengers.This all makes whole traffic miserable. Despite this being a residential area there are colleges such as Reddy IAS study Circle which allow their students to park in the street thus making it impossible for anyone to enter or leave the street. Adding to our woes are street hawkers who cater to these students and have turned this street into chaos. This also leads to heavy traffic jams on the ashoknagar road. The police officials have turned a blind eye to our complaints. I request the concerned authorities to visit this place and see for themsleves how bad the situation is and take the necessary action against the college officials. |

Sir, i drive daily from agapura nampally to kishanbagh and the entire stretch of road is full of potholes. The Bahadurpura road is supposed to be a highway and one of the links to the city from the airport. The road has been dug for sewerage laying but has not been repaired after the work is completed. To drive on that road is a nerve wracking experience and same is the case on the road from bahadurpura to kishanbagh. It is very difficult for two wheeler drivers to drive slowly, well if i had been a stuntperson then there would have been no problem.Even the roads in Agapura are in a bad shape and i think the rain gods are merciful to us drivers thats why we dont have rains. just a downpour floods the roads and if we had a deluge i dont know what would have happened. |

There is a lot of good things happening in the GHMC if only we go thru proper and straight channels-there is no hanky panky as some members of public seem to think.I am very proud of the system now and kudos to the present administration. My BPS certificate was issued with no trouble at all-special thanks to
Mr. Nanda Kumar,Deputy Commisioner, GHMC,Circle 18, after the latest meeting of the GHMC officials.I was left gaping when the order was issued as I always thought there would be a lot of red tapism. My advice to co -citizens is, be frank and submit all documents(this is fairly easy if you keep a day for it and it is a small price to pay for the legalisation of your property) and ofcourse pay the penalty!

I am a native of shivarampally(PV Narsimha Rao express highway pillar no 289/290. There is a garbage bin on the road. It is besides the transformer. People are using this not only as garbage bin but also for urinals and other stuff. We requested the GHMC staff to remove the bin from this area, but they are not responding properly. They are very rude and telling that the bin is here from the past 4-5years. We will not remove it from here. Please take some action and make sure that this garbage bin is removed from here and placed it somewhere.

It is to be appreciated that the GHMC has taken up ABC/AR (Animal Birth Control/ Anti Rabies Vaccination Programme)in large scale for the scientific control of Street dogs in association with Animal Welfare Organisation. Many dogs on streets of Hyderabad are seen with the cut at the ear tip,an indication for the safety with such dogs which are sterilised and vaccinated.The programme is to be continued in all the areas and requesting the authorities not to kill these voiceless creatures brutally, as you were doing eariler. |

many measures has been taken by the govt to control traffic such as building flyovers bridges..etc.but in some areas they need to work harder to improve free movement of vehicles.i am speaking about the bridge near afzal gunj.there was a 2 way traffic some years ago..but due to excess traffic 1 more bridge has been constructed adjacent to it in order to prevent traffic.but wat happened?
Half of the old bridge got occupied by fruit sellers.due to which the same situation arose resulting in heavy traffic.
Bottam line is money wasted on the work not done with no result.no implimentation of law and order.i feel bad seeing that...wat can be done?? |
