| Manthan-American Indian Foundation Award is a first of its kind initiative in India to recognize the best practices in e-Content and Creativity. It http://www.manthanaward.org was launched on 10th October 2004, by Digital Empowerment Foundation in partnership with World Summit Award and American Indian Foundation. The Manthan-AIF Award winners for the year 2005-06 were awarded on 5th August, 2006 at NCUI, New Delhi in a one day Manthan-AIF Award gala cum conference on e-Content and Sustainability organized by Digital Empowerment Foundation. The Conference cum award gala was attended by over 300 people from various walks of life and came from different regions and background and represented various States across the length and breadth of the country.
